We are glad to tell that one the the main purposes has been achieved so far which is to overcome the timezone gap and countries of all latitudes and longitudes have some reading of this blog.
A surprise was to realize the Rusian Federation is following us as well as countries from Far East.
We don't exist for Canada and many parts of europe yet and africa.

Trying HyperCommunities: High and Lows
Hypercommunities
Yesterday our editor posted an article introducing the concept of Hypercommunity and elaborated some arguments and stuff on its advantages and left the door open for those who would want to comment on the rest of items for a complete SWOT analysis. That is, she stated the advantages and Strengths an left the Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats to be discussed by some one else. Well I took the glove of the challange and went out to give the idea a try, a test fly by exposing its concepts to people I could randomly meet in some Imvu room at any odd hour of the day.

People don't trust new things because they are unusual.
The Portal Option in the new version of Imvu Client Toolbox provides an excellent tool to install shortcuts from one room to another. Of course it will be trusted by persons who know about the options and its instalation or by those who agree upon having such a connection between the rooms they own. But when you want to show other people how it works, and ask them to look for the blue point they say "I got it!" then when you ask them to click on it they go like "Sorry, I can't see any point".

Are they just idiot and ignorant?
Of course not. Quite the opposite, they are smart persons who are aware of many tricks, traps and scams that may take the form of a link, spot or button to click on. Politely, they will be reluctant to go click, will reject the option and will invent an odd excuse for not accepting it. Usually, they will also leave very soon. It is an unfortunate situation, a blind lock.
For people not knowing about all this mechanisms, Portal is not the only way to skip passing through the ChatRoom Menu to reach a given room. You may also write the physical link on the command line where text is typed. These room links also produce some fear in persons who don't know the option is available. The ordinary Imvu user is quite illiterate on Imvu features in fact.

For the time being, we will be dealing with rooms as we know them with limited capacity of usually no more than 10 persons and having to navigate the option tree from braches to subbranches and backwards to the trunk ( ChatRoom Option) and skip innovations at a collective level.
However, in the realm of small groups of users who can undertake the effort to do some reasearch on their own and explore new situations and providing solid suggestions to improve Imvu both at functional as in code levels, the search for new models of interaction will be a permanent quest.

Imvu realm dwellers are mature enough to undertake the founding, formation an building of hypercomunities.
Going beyond the Tribal stage
At present, groups, rooms, realms, kingdoms, families are the most usual way members who are close friends gather in a sort of fraternity or sorority and develop strong relationships between them as individuals and usually adopt some mission or endeavour as a collective purpose.
The idea of a hypercommunity is about linking separate groups and individuals who want to share a commonwealth in terms of some resources, both material as immaterial. Namely rooms, access, information, opportunities to develop business, ...a long list may follow.
Why taking such a road of hard work? Just to achieve better quality of life and opportunities if you are born as an avatar in the Imvu realm.

A Model of Imvu Cosmos
Imvu cosmos is divided in two main parts:
One: the Imvu realm where everybody (should I say avi's) lives in Imvu.
Two: The outer world of Imvu Gods who are the system managers and engineers running the the structure of techno assets, mindware, software and hardware which supports the existence of the Imvu realm.

Synergy is a property of systems. In short, positive synergy is what makes 1+1 be greater than 2.

Some ethereal ideas may be taken to a concrete form in a simple way; in this case, it was the connection of TheMorningNews Headquarters to the Bavayaga Cafe by means of a Teleport, and that simple application of a fantastic new feature brought forward an enhanced communication between counterparts. Owners of different rooms may connect them by a mutual agreement and get a circuit of several nodes rendering a net of rooms of common and frequent use by those users.

We could have better things and places. But how?
An hypercommunity is stronger because it has enough economic power to fund bigger projects and hire contractors. So creators may take advantage out of this and apply for funds to make new products.
Also some groups could be hired to provide essential services, such as police departments to be appointed to identify and ban credit scammers, for example.
May be other contractors would provide the building of an hyper room connecting several rooms such as mall gathers several boutiques and department stores.
What about the building of a bridge like the Golden Gate connecting different locations?
May be each hypercommunity would fund a Capitol for a Governor or Mayor.
So many groups; you just run your imagination and name them.
We could travel to space to other worlds; I mean by this connecting Imvu to some other similar virtual realms such as Second Life or several others.

Ephemeral and Volatile
by F.McLauWhy bringing some contents from the Imvu Pulse in this blog? Isn't it a redundancy?
Yes, it is a necessary one.
Because Pulse is volatile, ephemeral like a spark in the sky, it lasts for a few minutes and then is completely gone.
Coming from the world of dance where performances are precisely that nature volatile and ephemeral I believe it is a great gift of our times having video cams to grasp a view or snapshot of them and keep it for later watching or study.
Writing in the Pulse is like performing LIVE, not perfect science, nothing is perfect, it doesn't have to be perfect because you write and read yours and others mood, a gesture, the way it is flowing outside.
No need for harsh criticism of style, form and correction. What you really share and enjoy is the spontaneous emergence of inner life spread over the surface of the earth coming to your screen LIVE.
But it is ephemeral, volatile, lasts just a moment. Long enough to give it a first read and then capturing if it's deemed worthwhile and share the specimen with others who are sleeping at that time (earth is spherical, you may remember that, it rotates...)
At first. I read with deep interest what was being written in other locations in the world, but soon it came out that we are not only segregated by latitudes and longitudes but also by age ranges. And it is this feature the one marking the difference in contents most of the times.
With these considerations in mind, the idea of sharing my browsing emerged and the topics of "Women Talk" or "Women's Wisdom" came into existence in the form of new posting in the Pulse and now in this article for TheMorningNews.
People with whom we probably will never come "face to face" in a chat room because of timezone, age ranges and interests scope segregation is mirrored in those excerpts captured from the Pulse.A first try was yesterday posting of "Women's Wisdom". Here's an idea, How about everyone learns to deal with their bs and stops making everyone else feel like total and complete ****. Each and every person wakes up every day to their own problems and goes to bed at night with at least one problem to wake up with the next morning and deal with. I am sick and tired of seeing ppl I care about fighting and arguing and hurting because some stupid, ignorant fool needs to grow up. Here's an idea, How about everyone learns to deal with their bs and stops making everyone else feel like total and complete ****. Each and every person wakes up every day to their own problems and goes to bed at night with at least one problem to wake up with the next morning and deal with. I am sick and tired of seeing ppl I care about fighting and arguing and hurting because some stupid, ignorant fool needs to grow up. This is the internet and yes people can say things that hurt but you can choose to walk away from it so stop letting that little person behind the computer control you. Foreword
We all know there are thousands of thematic places in Imvu dealing with different areas of interest. One these specific realms are those related to war and armed forces; Army, Navy, Airborn Forces.
If you search by "army" in the Chatrooms Option you get a lot of sites related to this field.
Each of them have a crew who are in charge of running the place. Most of the times these locations are void of tourists and they may be just not allowed in.

TheMorning news, in its research and information endeavor, usually explore many places and these military camps and outposts are no exception. Sometines we send an explorer (an agent of our team) to drone locations in observing mode and may be he or she meets a sentinel and cannot go in; in other ocassions a conversation takes place. We pay our sincere respects to these people who we deem as patriots, veterans who gather old camrades and stay low profile in their barraks, thats why we seldom see them in other places.
The story in this account:
Some other times, strange things happen, such as the one we focus our attention in in this story. It occurred in mid November 2011 at an air force strip or airport named Helens Hanger.

Intrigue at Hellens Hanger
Our agent, whose identity will be concealed in this account and whom we will call Terry, reached Helens Hanger at noon (PST). There was some people there; after searching for army places it was the only site with more than 4 persons inside at the time. That was why Terry chose that location to go in.
Once she was there, while and after loading, she noticed an unusual behaviour in the place. Short sentences being written very quickly on the screen, both in English and Arabic; then only Arabic, then complete silence and poofing away the hell out of there by everyone.
One of the guys invited Terry to chat after he had left. Terry accepted the chat, but no dialog followed, just a short glance at each other and poofing off by the guy who had invited her.

There seemed to have been a meeting held by some group. Nothing unusual. May be a role playing group.
What was unusual in fact was the quick evacuation after they saw our agent was in and the invitation to chat by one the guys shortly afterwards.
Terry, from the first moment, captured some snapshots of the situation there and got the list of the persons attending this "secret meeting" she hadn't meant to disturb.
Once in the TMnews Hedaquarters, we have checked for these persons and none of thems eems to have been on line again ever since.
We end this account by saying we dont have an answer for it and remain with a big ? sign on the dossier Terry compiled and on our heads.

Among the thousand Imvu places to visit, the backyard is always interesting.
Within this particular corners, a strong activity seems to underway all day long. On one hand the ever present jail. It is the place usually meant for people locked away by the police in real life and, curiously, by themselves in the Imvu realm. Nobody takes them there; they just go an turn themselves in by semselves.

Witness and Victim of a Credit Scam
This was a conversation with a girl who was victim of a credit scam on Sunday Nov 13rd 2011
Last Sunday Nov 13rd Kate was contacted by a credit scammer named lCarlyAnnLuna
She trusted her and gave the scammer her email and Imvu pwd
She was robbed more than US$100
Got her e-mail pwd changed ( so she lost her e-Mail account) and some of her configuration data in Imvu
She had to open a new mail account, have her bank account protected and make Imvu reset her imvu account.
She was willing to come forward and tell about her painful experience so as to help make people aware of the reality of this type of scams; no myth, no legend, an awful reality within the Imvu realm.
This is an excerpt of the chat log.
Names have been changed so as to protect these witnesses of further attacks by the same or other scammers.
